Angie Kopshy loves music and was blessed with the opportunity to begin studying piano at a young age. While teaching, performing and songwriting, Angie volunteered in the community on the side. It became clear that her two greatest passions, music and helping others, could be united through Music Therapy.

Angie received a Master's in Piano from Boise State University before returning to Portland, Oregon, to pursue Music Therapy at Marylhurst University. Angie completed her internship in Portland, Oregon, where she currently works as Board-Certified Music Therapist.

Angie has additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy, which focuses on the impact of music upon the brain. Angie is also certified in Music Imagery, a psychoanalytic music therapy approach that allows clients to explore issues at a deeper level with the assistance of music and mandalas or writing.
